Next Monday, 31^st of October, the school will be closed.

From Wednesday 2^nd of November winter uniform is mandatory, although there will be some flexibility during the next few weeks as the weather is still warm.  We kindly remind you that the official uniform for boys from Y2 to Y5 is grey shorts and not trousers.  A tie is obligatory and must be worn every day, except on gymnastic days.

Thursday November 3^rd, Y5 Red will be going to the RTP studios in Lisbon.  Students will be taken by Autocarros Barraqueiro and will leave our premises at 9 am coming back by 12:30.  It is mandatory for students to come dressed in the full official winter uniform.  This visit will have a cost of €15 and will be invoiced in December.

 Tuesday November 8^th, Y2 and Y3 will be going to the Teatro Politeama in Lisbon to watch “A Pequena Sereia”,  a musical produced by Filipe La Féria.  Students will leave St. James’ premises with Barraqueiro Transportes at 9:30 am, and will be back by 12:30.  It is mandatory for students to come dressed in the full official winter uniform. This visit will have a cost of €17 and will be invoiced in December.

Tuesday November 15^th, Y5 Blue will be going to the RTP studios in Lisbon.  Students will be taken by Autocarros Barraqueiro and will leave our premises at 9 am coming back by 12:30.  It is mandatory for students to come dressed in the full official winter uniform. School photographs will be taken on November 22^nd and 24^th (Tuesday and Thursday respectively).  All students must come dressed in their full winter uniform, including a tie.  The photographs will be available for purchase – whenever parents agree to buy them – in cash, at the parent/teacher meetings held in December.  The price for the photographs is €17.
