Dear Parents,

It is with great pleasure that we announce that on Sunday 11^th of November we are invited to be part of the Eucamenical Remembrance Day church service at St. George’s Church in Estrela, Lisbon, to remember all war veterans from the First World War.

Since 2012, some pupils from St. James’ Primary School have participated in the service by each reading a small passage. Our pupils have once again been invited by the royal British Legion to take part in this important ceremony.

This year Luis Amaral from Year 7 will be the reader.

St. James´ Primary School would like to invite you and your family to attend the Eucamenical Remembrance Day church service on Sunday, 11th November 2018 at 10.15 a.m.   

Pupils attending this ceremony must come dressed in their full winter uniform.

The Royal British Legion is an organisation which raises money for war veterans and their families who have suffered war consequences, every year St. James´ School supports the Royal British Legion by selling poppies at school.
Please let the office know if you are interested in attending.
