Year 4 students will be taking part in an educational visit to Pavilhão do Conhecimento – Ciência Viva, in Lisbon, on Thursday, the 22nd of October 2026.
During this visit, students will have the opportunity to explore two exciting interactive exhibitions: “Era Uma Vez” and “Tcharan! Circo de Experiências”.
The exhibition “Era Uma Vez” invites students to discover the science hidden within well-known children’s stories. Through imaginative and interactive challenges, students will explore scientific concepts connected to everyday life, including aspects of physics, chemistry, mathematics and biology. By bringing stories to life through scientific discovery, the exhibition encourages students to think critically, ask questions and develop their problem-solving skills.
The exhibition “Tcharan! Circo de Experiências” combines the excitement of a circus with the fascinating world of science. Students will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities and discover scientific principles such as force, gravity, movement and balance. Through experimentation and exploration, they will be encouraged to make predictions, test ideas and understand how science is present in the world around them.
This educational visit will provide a valuable opportunity for students to learn through experience, develop their curiosity and connect classroom learning with real-life discoveries. It will also encourage creativity, independent thinking and active participation in the learning process.
